As I type this post I am also mixing up some cookie dough. I love my cookies and it took me forever to find a good recipe. I had one before and then one day it decided not to work for me anymore, I still don't know why!
Anyway, I have one and right now I'm mixing the butter and sugar together,by hand this time as I'm too lazy to take the mixer out, it's heavy!!!
I love baking these cookies as they don't take long to make at all and then only need 8 minutes in the oven and taste the best when just out of the oven. The smell of cookies is very powerful and even the strongest willed dieter will crack, that's how tasty they are :D I like to put a selection of chocolates into my biscuits, milk, dark and white for extra gooeyness nyom nyom nyom!
So I'll continue with this and I'll post some photos when they are fresh from the oven :D
UPDATE!!!!
I forgot to mention that these cookies were made without the egg as I forgot to buy some in the oven and was too lazy to go to the shop again so I found an alternative. 1tsp baking powder, 1 tsp baking soda, 2 tsp flour, 3 tsp water and mix, this is equal to 1 egg and it actually worked my cookies tasted delicious though they didn't last more than 5 minutes in this house.
